INDIVIDUAL GIVING
YOU MAKE THE MAGIC HAPPEN!
Did you know that over 50% of our annual operating budget comes from individual giving? Your generosity is what keeps live classical music thriving in the Fargo-Moorhead community.
When you give, you are not only supporting incredible music on stage, you are also supporting the local musicians who live and work right here in our community. These are your neighbors, teachers, colleagues, and friends, and together they bring world-class performances to our region.

Present affordable Masterworks concerts to thousands of people each season
Inspire nearly 3,000 elementary students each year through our Young People’s Concerts
Host rising stars through the Young Artist Solo Competition
Bring nationally and internationally acclaimed guest soloists to Fargo-Moorhead

Volunteers Wanted
From showing hundreds of squirmy elementary students to their seats at our Young People’s Concert to ushering under the stars at Bluestem Amphitheater, there are countless ways YOU can volunteer with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra and have fun doing it!
Volunteer opportunities include:
Ushers at concerts: welcoming guests, handing out programs, and helping with tickets.
Concert and event volunteers: help with things like setting up, taking tickets, or hanging posters around the community.
Event helpers: assisting with the Young Artists Solo Competition, the Young People’s Concert, and annual auditions.
Volunteer commitments can be as short as a couple of hours. Whatever your skills and schedule, we will find a great fit for you. Plus, as a thank you, volunteers receive FREE concert tickets.
