Endowment is the Future for Fargo Moorhead Symphony Orchestra!

Over the years since the 1970’s we have received gifts to our endowment fund to ensure the future viability of our orchestra’s mission.  Today the fund’s value nears the $1,000,000 mark and provides income from its earnings to help offset operational expenses. While annual operational support is crucial, making a gift above and beyond the annual gift is also crucial to the long-term financial future of our organization.

Fore general questions about the endowment, please call Executive Director Jeff vom Saal and he will be happy to answer them for you.  You can also visit the website for the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation where the FMSO Endowment Fund is managed and stewarded.  It is the policy of the FMSO that only a portion of the earnings on the endowment are used and that the principal of the fund is not used so that the fund may grow for expansion of future support.
