Enjoy a rich feast of brass ensemble music honoring the legendary Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, including works by Gabrieli, Strauss, Ewald, Plog, Premru and Susato. Experience a fascinating variety of brilliant and dramatic repertoire ranging from full brass choir and triple brass ensembles playing from the corners of the hall, to virtuosic brass quintets and small ensembles. Conducted by Dr. Scott Jones, Concordia College Concert Band Director.

The Chamber Series finale celebrates composers who are truly giants of the repertoire -- Beethoven and Brahms. Pianist Jihye Change joins the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony's own 8th Street String Quartet for this concert. Years ago, previous performances of the Brahms quintet held special significance for four of the five musicians -- that's how spouses Tim and Elise Buffat Nelson and Ben and Jihye Chang Sung met!
